Each year we make a call for new members. See below for specific year call. In general, applicants must:

  • Be an accredited institution
  • Have an EdD program or have necessary approvals to design and implement a professional doctoral program housed within a school, college, or department of education.

Additionally, applicants will submit an application packet including: 

  • A completed application  
  • Supporting materials as needed 
  • Letters of support 
  • Application fee of $300.00 
  • Applicants may be asked to participate in a 30-minute phone or video interview with the Executive Director, Board Member, or CPED Member Committee representative. 

2026 Call for CPED Institutional Membership

1) Read the 2026 Call for Membership. 

2) Download the Application. 

3) Register for the New Member Application Information session on March 6 HERE. 

4) Submit your completed application form and fee (Submission Form) by April 13. 

  • NOTE: The application and supplemental materials (no more than ten pages, with clear headings and page numbers) should be submitted as a single PDF online.
